GDPR and security

DigiRoom is a web-based service developed with security and integrity in focus. The technology is based on WebRTC which enables encryption all the way between users. In WebRTC, it is mandatory to encrypt both media traffic and signaling traffic. Only the most modern encryption methods are allowed when using DigiRoom.

DigiRoom is operated with servers and databases within EU/EES. Access to these resources is protected behind firewalls, IP-filters and is only accessed via secure encryption keys.

The resources are redundant to reduce downtime in the event of a single-point failure.

The digital meeting rooms are accessed through time-limited links and can only be created by authorized persons.

No personal information is saved.

After the meeting, all data in the room is deleted. Information that remains is limited to the following;

  • Room ID

  • Time and date of when the room was active

  • Browser, browser version and operating system used for troubleshooting

  • Voluntary feedback on the user experience
